The UMSRG is a group of University of Mississippi faculty and staff working across disciplines to learn more about the history of slavery and enslaved people in Oxford and on campus.

Co-chaired by Charles K. Ross, professor of history, and Jeff Jackson, chair and associate professor of sociology and anthropology, the UMSRG includes 58 faculty members across 17 academic departments.
